Semi automatic 5.56NATO pistol from Switzerland.  The PE stands for (privaten einsatz) which translates to private (personal) use.The Sig PE90 is the sporter semi automatic pistol Imported into the US from Switzerland. These models are highly coveted today. It features a 20″ barrel, chambered in .223/5.56NATO, a rotating bolt design and long stroke gas system. The vented handguard houses the integrated bipod. Other cool features include HK style diopter rear sight, last round bolt hold open and right side charging handle. The trigger guard can also rotate outward for use with large winter gloves. The polymer furniture is sleek and lightweight and these firearms can accept 10, 20 and 30 round polymer rock and lock magazines. The pistol grip also has a compartment for storage.
