FEG Defense is now producing the Hungarian Dragunov-18 Sporting Rifle for shooters to collect and enjoy. The HD-18 is new-production; FEG Hungary developed, manufactured, assembled and quality assured the semi-automatic sport rifle. Factory-matched to HD-18 is the Hungarian FEG Manufactured PSzO-1M2 Target Scope to complete the package. Comparable Russian SVD rifles sell for $25,000 and Chinese $10,000.00 so the HD-18 offers an excellent value and collector / investment potential.

This Sporting Rifle is gas-operated and can only be fired in semi-auto mode. All metal parts are made from high-quality, alloyed steels. The receiver is made from one solid-piece of steel block & the barrel is Hammer Forged & Chrome lined. Modular Muzzle Device ships with Muzzle-Bushing. This can be removed by gunsmith and changed to provide extra SVD style flash hider by the 5/8×24 thread. The classic Dragunov style stock set is made out of high quality walnut with a pickled-protected finish.

FEG Vedelmi Rendszerek Zrt developed, manufactured, and assembled the product model. (FEG Defense Systems CJSC), Hungary, as a Dedicated Sporting Rifle. This was in accordance with the Gun Control Act’s importation guidelines. The Application and Permit to Import Firearms was received by the HD-18 and was approved by the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm and Explosives. The Hungarian Civilian Small Arms and Ammunition Testing Facility (“PKLV”) certified our FEG product in compliance with C.I.P. specification.
