It features the M203 flats that are part of the Knights Armament Rail System. These were added to increase barrel durability over extended periods of rapid fire. The barrel has an extended flash cover that has been pinned to the barrel and welded to a length of 16.1 inches. The SOCOM also includes a side sling swivel at gas block and an ambidextrous safety chooser.
